The Approach

I forgot my camera for this quick run up to Deception Crags so I will basically just put a list of the climbs that we did. I know, kind of boring.

The Climbs

Substation Rock

Homo Erectus, 5.6

Long slabby route. Not to interesting but it makes for a good warm up.

The one next to Homo Erectus, 5.9

Has a bulge half way up that only makes it a little more interesting than Homo Erectus.

We Did Rock Left

Absolutely Nothing, 5.9

Probably the most popular climb on the whole rock. Consists of fun moves over the cruxy roof followed by a nice slab.

Blockhead, 5.9

This route is much steeper than the others on the wall. Fun traverse under a roof with somewhat slippery holds. Easier terrain leads to the top.

We Did Rock Right

My Ex-Wife, 5.10a

Although I have climbed this route a few times in the past I completely failed at it today. Not sure why but I just couldn't do it. Pretty disappointing!

Your Sister, 5.7

Climbed it to clean my gear from failing on the 10a next to it.
